ABOUT

OLI
THE FOUNDER
I started Temple Training in 2021, but my passion for lifting started long before that. I started lifting weights in Year 7. Daily push-ups, sit-ups, curling my brother’s old 10kg dumbbells and spamming every core exercise like my life depended on it. By Year 11, we could finally use the school gym. I stayed back after school everyday. Chest 3x per week, biceps and barely any legs. (We all started somewhere). After high school, I went to Wollongong Uni to study Exercise Science and planned to become a physio. After a year and a half of partying, skipping lectures and scraping by, I realised I hated my degree. The only thing I enjoyed was a placement I did in a gym. I remember walking into student central, dropping out and enrolling in my Cert III and IV in Fitness. It was a tricky conversation to drop on my proud parents that I wanted to be a PT. I landed my first job at Anytime Fitness Fairy Meadow and built a full book of clients within two weeks. Six months later, I was frustrated by the lack of progression - there was no space to grow. I always had a business plan for Temple Training. I took the leap of starting my own business with zero idea how it would go. I initially ran Temple Training out of a small private gym called A1HQ. I gave away lots of free sessions and got as many people through the door as possible. The private gym allowed me to focus properly on what I cared about: strength training. I was mentored by Sebastian Oreb, the Australian Strength Coach for over 3 years. He coached Thor to the World Record Deadlift at the time 501kg. Investing into a coach accelerated my own strength gains and business. This helped me truely understand the role of a good coach and mentor. When I lost my Dad in 2023 it created a huge sense of urgency. My dream was to own my own gym, so I quit football and gave Temple Training everything. One year of sacrifice and complete focus on growth allowed us to secure our very own gym - THE TEMPLE at 10/21 Doyle Avenue, Unanderra. No memberships. No random coaches paying rent. Just our people. Today, we have over 100 online and face-to-face clients. I’ve invested thousands into my education because I live and breathe strength training. My current PBs are a 220kg squat, 150kg bench and 280kg deadlift. I hold my clients to a high standard. We work hard, have a laugh and get results. If you’re late to training, it’s 10 reps on the pendulum squat per minute. No exceptions. I coach all the boys at Temple Training, plus a select few very strong girls. I want every client to look at me and see exactly what I’m selling: being jacked, shredded, strong and good-looking.
MEET THE TEAM

KEELY
HEAD FEMALE COACH
Hi, I’m Keely, a coach at Temple Training, and I’m passionate about helping women become stronger, healthier and more confident both in and outside of the gym. My journey with Temple actually started in 2022 as a member. I experienced first-hand how strength training and great coaching could completely change my confidence and mindset, which ultimately inspired me to become a coach myself. I completed my Certificate III and IV in Fitness through the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers (AIPT) in 2025 and joined Temple Training as a coach later that year. As a coach, my philosophy is simple: every client deserves to feel heard, understood and supported, while also being challenged to become the best version of themselves. I believe the foundations of great results come down to consistency, good nutrition, strength training and having a coach who is willing to be honest with you. My role is to educate, hold my clients accountable and help them build realistic habits they can maintain long term. I don’t just want my clients to achieve amazing results, I want them to understand how they achieved them and have the skills to maintain those results for life. I exclusively coach girls through YTG, and one of the things I value most is taking the time to genuinely get to know every client. I love celebrating the wins, supporting my girls through the tougher weeks and creating an environment where women feel comfortable being themselves, asking questions and learning. To me, coaching is about so much more than a weekly check-in form. It’s about building trust, creating accountability and helping women feel confident in themselves and their ability to do hard things. My mission is to help women become stronger, healthier and more confident in and outside of the gym. I’m particularly passionate about supporting women who have struggled with their relationship with food or training and helping them build healthy, sustainable habits without relying on quick fixes or dieting fads. I value honesty, consistency, effort and kindness. I believe sustainable results come from doing the basics well, staying patient and creating habits that actually fit into your everyday life. Ultimately, my goal is for every client I coach to leave feeling more confident in the gym, stronger than when they started and equipped with the knowledge to continue progressing long after they’ve worked with me. I’m your coach first, but I also want you to feel like you have a friend in your corner. My clients know they’ll always get genuine, honest feedback because I care just as much about their goals as they do. I’ll celebrate your wins with you, challenge you when you need it and support you when things get tough. And finally, a few things you should know about me: I started training in the gym when I was 17, I have a serious Guzman addiction, and my clients and I are on a mission for the girls to take over Temple Training… don’t tell Oli.

TALIA
DIETITIAN
Hey! I’m Talia, the accredited practicing dietitian for Temple Training. My primary role with Temple is helping clients meet their goals by optimising their nutrition to match the effort they’ve put in in the gym. This includes tailored recipe ebooks, nutrition seminars, making content in Woolies and of course always open to a DM! My qualifications include a bachelor in nutrition science and masters in nutrition & dietetics. I have experience working with a wide range of populations including metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular disease and sports nutrition. My philosophy is that health and nutrition don’t need to be complicated - it’s about knowing what matters, nailing the basics and making tweaks from there. We’re all too busy to worry about small moving parts (and who can really be bothered anyway). What makes me different is my tailored approach to nutrition - I recognise how different every person is and ensure my advice is tailored to suit them and their circumstances. My clients enjoy working with me for this reason, and because together we’ll always find a way that suits them. My mission is to give everyone the tools and education to manage their own health confidently and am lucky enough to see this every day in our members. I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals - let’s go!!

LIVVY
MRS. TEMPLE TRAINING
I’m Oli’s partner in crime around Temple Training, the unofficial HR, official wife, occasional picture editor, tech support, and resident yapper, always happy to throw in my own twist wherever it’s needed. By day I work in account management at a tech start-up, and with a double degree in Commerce and Psychological Science, I’ve picked up a knack for people and problem-solving that comes in handy here too. Oli is an extraordinary human, and I love that we get to make Temple Training an extraordinary place together.
